I got coffee & stuff this morning. The bill was $5. I handed the girl a $20, and got two $5 bills back. I noticed, and held the two five's up for her... she's like "What did you give me, a 20?"
"Well, I'm pretty sure wasn't a $15"
Was that mean? I got the feeling she might have thought so...

I vote - NOT mean - maybe even deserved and needed. Cashier's should be required to know basic math.
