I needed to catch a car to the airport from our office in New Jersey, so I call one of the car companies we use. The owner answered and he said "There's a car coming at 6 to take Siggi Hauer to the airport, do you know him?"

"Nope..." I say, at which point he says "He's the CIO of Europe."

Great. I'm sure he will love to ride to the airport with me. So I decided I would call a cab, and leave the man to his business, but my cab ended up taking too long so I went and jumped in the car with the big man. He was a very nice guy; I mentioned why I was in town, so he started talking voice over IP strategy with me, and questioning me about "why aren't you deploying soft phone to the U.S.?" and other things as if I own the place. (I only own half of the place) So I made up some stories to sound important and then stole his watch as he was leaving the limo. Nice to meet you, sir.
